A Recovery Option Evaluation Framework for Technology Leaders
Every technology provider can claim to offer proven recovery capabilities. Almost none are ever asked to define what that claim should actually be tested against, and fewer still are asked consistently, across every option on the shortlist.
Before you commit to any recovery option, consider:
- Would it survive being tested against a specific, documented standard, not just a sales conversation?
- Would a technical evaluator and a risk approver in your organisation both come away satisfied, or only one of them?
- Would the answer change if you asked it again in six months, once the platform is actually running?
